Duchess Sophie looked stylish as she embraced her winter wardrobe and decided to wrap up warm by putting on a layered display. The 59-year-old fashionista sent fans into meltdown as they gushed over the trendy look.

She visited Cranford Community College in Hounslow on behalf of the Royal Family and met with the Feel Good Inside and Out Project where she showed off her cooking skills. The mother-of-two wore a £3,600 leather midi dress from the brand Loewe.

Although this came as a shock as it is not often that you see a royal in a leather jacket, dress or skirt, its description says: "Loewe's strikes a modern tone with this black midi dress, which is crafted in Italy from leather to a sleeveless shape with an Anagram-logo belt."

Sophie paired the statement dress with a floral patterned shirt from her favourite brand, Me + Em. Again, Sophie already had this hanging up in her wardrobe. Last month she wore the blouse to a meeting with the DRC’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and retails for £175.

Sophie is a huge fan of winter footwear and decided to complete the outfit by styling it with knee-high boots.

Over the years the Duchess of Edinburgh has shown support for sustainable fashion, and the look she went for today was a complete re-wear - and it was not just the blouse.

She first stepped out in the striking dress back in 2022 and it is a look we’ve never forgotten.
